Will the coating on my Cosmic Collection pieces wear or scratch off?Updated 7 days ago

It's not paint, and it's not a coating sitting on top of the metal. The colour comes from a titanium oxide layer formed on the surface of the steel itself. The shifting tones are created by light interacting with that surface, using the same physics that gives a soap bubble its iridescent colours. Because the finish is part of the metal rather than applied on top, it's more durable than paint. Like any metal finish, it will naturally develop signs of wear over time with regular use. 

Will my Cosmic Collection piece look exactly like the photos? 

No. Because the finish is created through a natural surface treatment, each piece develops its own unique mix of bronze, green, purple and blue tones. No two pieces are exactly alike, and the colours may also appear different depending on the lighting and viewing angle. Our product photos are intended to represent the overall finish, but your piece will have its own unique character.Limited edition.
